What do I do if my hairline starts receding?

What do I do if my hairline starts receding?

First of all don’t stress some things are just part of life however; there are a few tricks and techniques a barber has to disguise that type of flaw to make it less noticeable or not even noticeable at all. Fading certain areas to camouflage the darker areas from contrasting the lighter areas and not going to heavy on the definition of the outline gives you more of a natural look.

What products are recommended for hair growth?

What products are recommended for hair growth?

Yes of course but many have unknown side effects and unknown ingredients so through experience and trial and error my recommendation is getting a hair transplant if affordable to you as it is on the expensive side, there are some natural products that that can aid in hair recovery; Diplona is a natural oil product that I have recommended to a few clients and it either worked or left limited results with no side effects depending on the severity of the individual’s hair loss. Once again of course the final touches and detailing in a haircut can disguise hair loss.

Do hair styling products cause hair loss?

Do hair styling products cause hair loss?

Not as long as you don’t abuse it for example; if you have products in your hair 24/7 or rarely have a day product free, over a course of time yes that might so to speak.

How often should I wash my hair?

How often should I wash my hair?

Every 2-3 days for the average man depending how often your hair gets dirty or oily, the only side effect of washing too often like every day for example is dry scalp which can also depend on weather conditions. Cold weather can cause dry scalp so keeping your hair moisturized with conditioner, leave-in conditioners and natural oil products is a suggestion.

What shampoo should I use or any I should not use?

What shampoo should I use or any I should not use?

There are many good shampoos available it’s a trial and error process to find the best for your hair. Head&Shoulders is one to stay away from it causes and dandruff which is the opposite of the marketing selling point; of course there’s always exception to the rule but in general it is a hoax. Professional lines such as TreSemme and Pantene Pro-V are recommended and available at local pharmacies that used to be exclusively used at salons and barbershops however once a product is available to non-professionals it is dropped by Professionals in order to give an exclusive standard to what Professionals use. Every product we use in our establishment is also available for sale including shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and many other styling and hair maintenance products.
